NYC Desk Calendar Deep Dive: July Nov 22 Written By Chase Gensheimer Welcome back to the deep dive series! In this series you can read all about each photo in the Aerochase calendars for 2025. You can find out where the photo was taken, tips about getting there, and behind the scenes of each photo. I hope you enjoy! July’s photo is from one of my top photo spots in all of New York City. If you walk out onto the Manhattan Bridge at sunset, you can find a small hole in the chain link fence that is the perfect size for a camera lens. If you get there early enough, you can snag that spot and get ready. Once the sun sets, you can get a long-exposure photo like this one. Long exposure allows more light to enter the camera, so each headlight and taillight becomes a streak of red or white. The effect over 20 seconds is breathtaking. It’s made all the better by the view of the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. If you want to check out this spot, check out the map below! Chase Gensheimer
