I still can’t believe I got this shot. I noticed that there were quite a few lightning strikes around, so I pulled my camera out to see if I could snap a shot. Here is the result! This is one of my favorite techniques in photography. To take this shot, I left the shutter open for 10 seconds at a time, and if lightning strikes, it freezes in the frame and gives enough light to show the rest of the scene.
