2024 Calendar Deep Dive - February

Febraury

February’s photo was taken in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland. I spent the weekend in Switzerland at the beginning of summer 2023, and I took this shot during a long walk through a valley in the Alps. Most of the walk was through fields and rolling hills, but at one point we crossed a river and the view stopped me in my tracks. I composed this photo with the river leading the eye up toward the cliff face and the fog. The icy blue water is a nice bonus. My favorite part of the photo is the way the fog is hanging low over the scene.
